Telluride Choral Society Youth Ensembles:

Each year we have one or more Youth Choral Groups depending on the needs of the community. In the past, we’ve had groups such as Emanon, the Choristers, an Advanced Choir, and more.

This year we are excited to be offering a multi-grade youth choir for grades 2-8. These kids just started the season and are having such a blast selecting music and singing together! We are still accepting new students until January 30th. You can sign them up here.

We also offer additional opportunities for our older students. For instance, one of our 7th graders will be directing a song for our youth choir this season, an 8th grade student has been invited to join the adult Chorale’s “Camp”, and our 11th and 12th graders are invited to join the adult Chorale’s full season. We also offer private lessons for those who are preparing for a performance outside of our Choral Society or who just want to develop their skills independently.

All of our choir options are great for students who want to enhance their vocal skills, grow their confidence on stage, and be a part of a group of wonderful and talented musicians in our community.

Youth Choirs rehearsals will be FRIDAYS in the Telluride Middle/High School Drama Room starting January 23rd from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Performance Dates:

Next Performance: will be SpringSing 2026 on Friday, March 20th :  7:00 p.m.  &  Sunday March 22nd :  4:00 p.m.

Both performances at:  Christ Church, 434 W. Columbia Ave . Telluride

Tuition:

Our standard singer dues/tuition fee is $125 per season.  We are asking this year that people place themselves on a sliding scale for tuition, from $125 to $500.  We have not raised our tuition dues for many years, and the costs to run TCS are much higher than the revenue we receive.   Your help in supporting TCS where you can is much appreciated!
Some financial assistance is available.  Ask a TCS board member about scholarships.
