Wana Baraka / The Road Home (I list these together because they’re both from recent TCS programs. And, these two were chosen as part of the repertoire by San Juan Choral Festival. TCS will join SJCF in Telluride for the 6/11 concert.
Chamber Singers

Saturday- Jan 11: Chamber Singers Audition 2:30-4:00 at Christ Church-
Come by during these hours to audition-
Please prep part of a song to sing. It does not need to be a whole piece, but just a verse or an extended line from one will be enough. Any musical style will work. Dalen will accompany, but unaccompanied is ok too. Also, please be prepared to sing verse 1 of O Jesulein Suess (click to open) in your voice part, with a small ensemble that will be there to sing with you. Lastly, I’ll have a sight reading exercise to walk through with you. Sight reading is great of course, but more important is ability to retain and sing back a line. By having these 3 steps, I’ll hear your voice when at your best, I’ll understand how you blend with others and I’ll understand your ability to read, or quickly pick up new music.
