Noel Night on Wednesday, December 7, brings to Telluride the first echoes of “A Hometown Holiday!” presented by the Telluride Choral Society. Members of the Telluride Chorale will be caroling in the shops or on Main Street during the evening hours of Noel Night, ringing in the Season with good cheer! This year’s WINTERSING is entitled “HOMETOWN HOLIDAY!” and will feature a number of holiday favorites including SLEIGH RIDE, SILVER BELLS, the first set of the ALFRED BURT CAROLS, and because of the great reception in last year’s concert, a set of Jazz Classics including BACK HOME AGAIN IN INDIANA, I’LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS and GEORGIA ON MY MIND. Emanon will perform a light holiday spin-off on some of Mozart’s famous works among other pieces and Choristers give us insight as to WHY WE SING! Performances of WinterSing “Hometown Holiday” are: Saturday, December 10, 3 PM, United Methodist Church, Montrose Wednesday, December 14, 7 PM, St. Patrick’s Church, Telluride Friday, December 16, 7:30 PM, Michael D. Palm Theatre, Telluride The Choral Society is also presenting their Second Annual Gala Auction Concert at the Telluride Conference Center in Mountain Village on December 18th. This festive Holiday special event features a Live and Silent Auction, Gift Items, Hors d’oeuvres, Cash Bar, Dessert and Concert. Don’t miss this once a year opportunity to spend a wonderful evening out and take advantage of some great holiday shopping! Doors open at 6:30 for browsing and carousing and the concert begins at 7:30 PM. This magical, musical evening is a must for the holidays!
