Children’s & Teen Ensembles: Includes the Choristers, Emanon and Omni Voce. We won’t address times and rehearsals beginning in the school year right now… BUT! We’ll update this in August-September of 2003 and tell you EVERYTHING you need TO KNOW then. So stay tuned!!! The Choristers is comprised of young singers from grades 3 through 7. Auditions are required to be in the Choristers, and take place at the beginning of the choral season. Continuing Choristers must also try out each year. It is important for the director to hear the progress and development of each individual's voice. It is also good experience for a singer to practice auditioning whenever possible. All Choristers are required to make a full commitment for the entire season, from October to April. The Choristers work on a varied repertoire from unison to 3-part singing. The music is carefully selected to introduce singers to new vocal challenges, varied musical styles, and unique, fresh experiences. Typically, the Choristers perform in WinterSing, SpringSing, School Concerts, and special events such as Noel Night. The Choristers also travel on occasion to give performances outside Telluride. |
