In the Summer of 2008, the Choral Society performed Verdi’s Requiem with the Durango Choral Society at the Music in the Mountains Festival in Durango

In the Summer of 1995, the Choral Society became a 501(c)3 non-profit. This marked the “official” beginning of the TCS. Prior to that time though, there was a community of singers who annually performed Handel’s Messiah during the Holidays. Many of those singers made up the founding members of TCS.
“Light One Candle” was Dr. David Lingle’s parting WinterSing concert.
Rhonda Muckerman came on board as TCS’s new Artistic Director with “Keep On Singing!”
Circa 1994-95 ... the TCS grass roots first public appearance.

Seven members joined the Durango Choral Society and the San Juan Symphony for performances of “Carmina Burana” in Durango, Colorado and Farmington, New Mexico in April
